A Notion-style editor, an infinite canvas, backlinks and sharing: documents that live inside projects instead of in a separate app.
ExploreChannels and DMs with everything you expect (reactions, read receipts, attachments), plus the things chat tools forget: polls, decision cards, and async standups that arrive as a summary instead of nine messages.

Every team has the same story: "we agreed that in Slack", followed by twenty minutes of scrolling. Chat is fast, which is why decisions happen there. Chat is also linear and ephemeral, which is why they disappear.
Tenon's chat is real-time and familiar. But when a conversation reaches a decision, you record it as a decision card: what was decided, who agreed, and what ticket or page it relates to. Every channel has a Decisions tab that pins them, so "what did we agree?" is one click, not a scroll. When you need a quick vote, you post a poll. When you share a page, it shows up as a rich card with its title and status, not a URL nobody clicks.

And because chat lives in the same database as your projects, a message can link a ticket, the AI can read the thread, and search finds all of it.
Real-time messaging with reactions, hover actions and read receipts. Familiar on day one.
Upload files, preview images inline, and link files or pages into a conversation.
Share a page into chat and it renders a rich preview, not a naked URL.
Ask the room, count the votes, move on.
Propose a decision inline, record who agreed, and find it again six months later.
Configurable standups with a submission modal and an AI-generated summary card. No 9:15 meeting required.
An in-app notification panel, plus admin broadcasts from the superadmin panel when everyone needs to know.
Configure a standup per team: which days, what time, which questions. Everyone answers from a modal when it suits them. A cron job collects the answers and Brain writes a readable digest: what moved, what's blocked, who needs help.
Priya posts a poll in #launch-week: Tuesday or Thursday? Ten votes in, Tuesday wins. Jordan turns it into a decision card ("Launch Tuesday 14 Oct") and links it to ticket WR-112. Alex reacts with a 馃帀 and drops the pricing page in as a card so nobody has to ask where it is.
Three weeks later a new hire asks "why Tuesday?" Someone types "launch" into search. The decision card comes up first, with the names of everyone who agreed.

Upload files and images (with inline previews) to any conversation. Files are stored in Supabase Storage, which you host.
A structured message that records a decision: the statement, who agreed, and links to related tickets or pages. It is searchable and can be referenced later, unlike a plain message.
Superadmins can send admin-broadcast notifications that appear in every user's notification panel, for maintenance windows, policy changes, or a company-wide announcement.
For internal team conversation, yes. Tenon does not currently offer voice or video calls or external shared channels; many teams keep a calling tool alongside Tenon.
